Be with someone that respects your life

Your love

Your skin

Be with someone that looks at you on the outside

Like they do from within

Be with someone that fights for your life

Demanding justice for your skin

Giving money to begin the

reparations

Baby girl, be with someone that values you.

I know he means well

I know you share a lot

But once his ignorance settles in,

You won’t know when it’s gonna stop

It is not your job to teach him

It is not your job to raise him

He is not your son.

Be with somebody that celebrates all of you.

Fights for all of you

Loves all of you

You deserve that
